Introduction

Fleet Policies aka Multiple-Risks Policies.

To issue fleet policies, you need to configure a product version with the specific handling of multiple risks option, see Multiple Risks tab. Currently, Seamless support two options of handling multiple-risks policies:

Managing fleet policies just got easier with Seamless! This guide will walk you through how to use the fleet policy function effectively, from creating and managing policies to handling quota shares and payments. Whether you're new to the system or looking for a refresher, this guide has got you covered.

With Seamless, you can:

  1. Create quote and purchase fleet policy

  2. Provide policy premium per object per cover

  3. Adjust fleet policy via MTA quotes

  4. Add/remove objects via MTA quotes

  5. Terminate fleet policy at policy level

  6. Custom period for individual insured object.

    1. This is only available for Fleet using Excel upload file.

  1. Open the Customer Account → choose the account you want to associate with the Fleet Policy

  2. Access the Fleet tab

  3. Click on the Create button

    1. A new Fleet Policy is created with the status DRAFT.

  4. Enter Fleet Policy Details

    1. Fill in all required policy information (e.g., policy period, customer details, etc.).

  5. Enter any relevant rating factors.

    1. If none are entered, the default value of 0 is applied.

  6. Upload an Excel file containing all objects' information.

    1. Ensure the file adheres to the defined template for the selected product version.

    2. Template details can be found under Product Version. Refer to <TBD>

  7. After uploading, you can:

    1. Preview Premiums: Click Calculate to view policy-level premiums.

    2. Reupload File: If there are errors, upload a corrected file.

  8. Once all mandatory fields are completed, the Calculate button will be enabled.

  9. Click the Calculate button to generate a result file with premiums.

  10. Review the generated result file to ensure all details are accurate.

  11. After this, the Confirm button will become enabled.

  12. Click on the Confirm button.

  13. Select a Payment Option:

    • Choose an option from the available tenant payment methods.

    • Click Purchase to finalize.

  14. The Fleet Policy status is updated to ACTIVE, and policies in the Excel file are created.

  1. Create a new fleet policy or Open an existing fleet policy

  2. Navigate to the Quota Share section

  3. Clicks (plus) button

  4. Select a cover

  5. Fills in mandatory fields for a carrier

  6. Use the Add (+) button to include additional carriers.

    1. A maximum of 100 carriers can be added per cover.

  7. Use the Delete button to remove any carrier from the list.

  8. Clicks Save to add new share

    1. Ensure the total Share % for each cover equals exactly 100%.

a. Excel File Handling

  • The system always uses the latest uploaded Excel file for calculations, so please ensure to review your latest result file before confirming

b. Rating Factors

  • You can adjust rating factors after activation without impacting created policies.

c. Policyholder Updates

  • When changing customer account information (e.g., name), it would be automatically reflected in associated Fleet Policies.
