Claim Types is to define types of injury / damage. A product cover can have several claim types. See Claim Transaction Details Levels (Claim Type, Cause Type, Claim Element and Mapping)

Add new Claim Type
On Claim Types tab, click + Add New Claim Type button, it will show the popup to add a new Claim Typeclaim type.

On this popup, you need to provide:
Claim Type Id: unique identity of the claim typeReporting Code: code for reporting purpose
Claim Type Name: name of the claim type
After you’re done with required claim type information, you need to click Save to accept creating new claim type. The new claim type will be added and displayed in the Claim Type list.
Edit existing Claim Type
On Claim Type list, click on Edit button of one Claim Typeclaim type. It will show Update Claim Type popup where you can update the Claim Type Id and Claim Type Name.

After you’re done with required claim type information, you need to click Save to accept the changes. The changes will be reflected in the Claim Type list.
Delete existing Claim Type
On Claim Type list, click on Delete button of one claim type. It will show a confirmation.

If you’re ok, please click Yes to accept deleting the Claim Typeclaim type. The Claim Type claim type will disappear from the Claim Type list.
