Claim Elements is to define purposes of a reserve/payment. See Claim Transaction Details Levels (Claim Type, Cause Type, Claim Element and Mapping)

Add new Claim Element

On Claim Element tab, click + Add New Claim Element button, it will show the popup to add a new Claim Element.

On this popup, you need to provide:

  • Reporting Code: code for reporting purpose

  • Claim Element Name: name of the claim element

After you’re done with required claim element information, you need to click Save to accept creating new claim element. The new claim element will be added and displayed in the Claim Element list.

Edit existing Claim Element

On Claim Element list, click on Edit button of one Claim Element. It will show Update Claim Element popup where you can update the Claim Element Id and Claim Element Name.

After you’re done with required claim element information, you need to click Save to accept the changes. The changes will be reflected in the Claim Element list.

Delete existing Claim Element

On Claim Element list, click on Delete button of one claim element. It will show a confirmation.

If you’re ok, please click Yes to accept deleting the claim element. The claim element will disappear from the Claim Element list.
