Product Details

1. Introduction

Seamless provides you the ability to define multiple versions of a product, allowing you to modify and publish changes without impacting previous quotes and policies.

a. Before you begin

You need to have permission to View Products or Manage Products to access this page.

2. Product Details page

The PRODUCT DETAILS section provides a summary of the product with the following information:

1. Name: This displays the name of the product.

2. Logo: This represents the product through an icon.

3. List of product versions that have been created for this product.

   1. VERSION: The version number represents the current active version. Only one version can be active at a time. To activate a version, please refer to the following link: Product Version Details [123]

   2. DESCRIPTION: The description of the version

   3. CREATED DATE: The date that the version was created

   4. STATUS: The current status of the version

      1. Published: This version is fully updated and ready for sale. Once a version is published, it cannot be modified anymore. If changes are necessary, you must clone the new version and make the modifications there.

      2. Draft: This version is currently in editing mode.

4. Add Product Version: see Product Version details

5. Clone Product Version: By clicking on this button, you can create a new product version that contains all the information from the version it is cloned from.

6. View Product Version details: To access the details of a specific Product Version, simply click on the Product Version link in the Version column. For more information, refer to Product Version Details [123].

If the product is currently available for sales, a green notification will be displayed at the top of the page stating "This product is active and available for sale." as depicted above.
