I. Introduction

Section is a group of coverage used to create flexibilities in configuring different set of insurance benefits & limits.

Sections can be added into plans to create a flexible insurance scheme.

Insurance limits & deductible can be defined on Section level for all included coverage.

However if a section is added into a plan then plan level limits & deductible will override section configurations.

If insurance limits & deductibles are not defined on section or plan then it will be referring to coverage level limits & deductible.

II. Prerequisites

You need to have permission to View Products or Manage Products to access this page.

Action	Description
View all	You can view all section in your product in the left-hand menu
Clone a section	You can clone the section to a new section. Clone means you create another new section with exactly the same with your selected section
Remove a section	You can remove the section of your product. Please note that you can't revert after removing the section
Add a new section	You can enter your section name and click Add to add a new section

Field	Description
Section ID	The ID of the section, must be numerical field
Section Name	Name of the section, and it must be unique comparing with other sections in your product
Display Name	Display name of the section, and it must be unique comparing with other sections in your product
Description	Description of your section
Displaying Order	The order that this section will be displayed on Quote UI
Belong to a plan	Select the plan that this section will belong to from list of available plan of the current product

Limit Type	Per claim event Per insured period
Value Type	Fixed value - the predefined value of the section. For example, the insurance company always set the maximum sum insured of the section as 10.000.000 and doesn’t depend on the all covers' sum insured Input - getting the value from a question tag. The maximum sum insured of the section is defined as the sum insured of the section
Limit amount	The predefined limit SI, numerical field Note! This field only shows when the value type = Fixed value
Source Question	The question that is defining the limit SI Note! This field only shows when the value type = Input
Limit (Free Text)

Field	Description
Deductible Type	Amount % of damage
Deductible type = % of damage
Deductible % Question	A question to capture the deductible %
Minimum Deductible Amount Question	A question to capture the minimum deductible that can has in a section
Maximum Deductible Amount Question	A question to capture the maximum deductible that can has in a section
Deductible Time From Question	A question to capture the deductible time
Deductible type = Amount

Source Question	The question that is defining the deductible Note! This field only shows when the value type = Input
Limit (Free Text)

This is a list of all covers in your section

Field	Description
Available Covers	List of all covers of your product. To add a new cover in your section, you would need to choose a cover in this dropdown and click Add to add the cover in your section
Cover name	Name of all covers in your section
Active when	Define whether the cover is mandatory in your section, or is optional depending on the selected condition Always: this cover is active when the section is selected. Yes/No question: this cover is active when a specific question is answered as “Yes” (ie: Include cover A - Yes) Custom condition: define active rules base on value of a specific question (ie: Maternity cover is added if Gender is Female)
Limit	Limit sum insured of the cover in the section. The cover can have its own limit Sum insured, and different limit SI when it is in a section
Deductible	Deductible of the cover in the section. The cover can have its own deductible, and different deductible when it is in a section
Remove	You can remove the cover out of the section. When removed, the cover is still in the product, but is not in the section
