3. Transaction types
a. Registered request
When the type of request is FFDFE, your request is a registered request. This means Seamless will request VTR to register a vehicle in the policy
b. Termination request
When the type of request is FFDAE, your request is a terminated request. This means Seamless will send a request to VTR to inform them that the policy of this vehicle has been terminated
When a policy is terminated, Seamless will send a termination request to GTR with the terminated reason. If the policy termination reason doesn’t support the list of GTR’s termination reasons, Seamless will not send the reason to GTR
This is the list of supported termination reasons:
UnpaidPremium - (ReasonCode = “1”)
ChangeOfInsurer - (RC = “2“)
Miscellaneous - (RC = “3“)
Sold - (RC = “13“)
RemovalOfInactiveRegistration - (RC = “4“)
