When accessing a policy, you'll have access to all the relevant details.

a. Policy info

This is a brief overview of the policy.

Field

Description

Period

The latest policy period: policy start date - policy end date

Product

The product that the policy is created by

  • On the product name, you can easily access the product version and activation date.

Channel

The sales channel through which the policy is sold

Effective Date

The latest policy effective date

  • If your policy undergoes multiple adjustments, the screen will display the most recent effective date.

Policy premium

The latest policy period premium (the premium that the customer pays for)

Annual premium

The latest policy annual premium

Status

Previous insurer

  • The previous insurer of the policy

Renewal mode

  • The current renewal mode of the policy

b. Policy status

Status

Description

Created

The policy has been created but has not yet been activated.

  • The effective activation date is set for the future.

Active

The policy is active

Pending Termination

The policy is waiting for termination

  • The termination effective date is set for the future.

Pending Renewal Offer

The policy is allowed to generate a renewal quote. -

  • The duration for allowing the creation of a renewal quote can be configured in Product Settings

Expired

The policy is expired

Terminated

The policy is terminated

  • In Seamless, this status will be applied to both policies that are terminated mid-term and those terminated entirely (canceled).

  • Policy Timeline: view changes in QAs and documents over the time.

  • Premium: premium breakdown

  • Cover breakdown: premium per cover. This should be the breakdown value from table “Premium” after applying all pricing components such as Underwriting Adjustment, Sales discount, Commissions, or Taxes.

  • Payment schedule: list all payments and their amount, status…

    • If the user receives a request from the policyholder to change the payment option of an active policy, it is possible in Seamless. Please see more details at this link Change policy payment option.

  • Documents: view and download the latest policy document
