Introduction

This feature helps to manage Closure reason options when you close a claim.

Prerequisites

To view / add / update / delete a closure reason, you need permission “Manage settings”. See Claim Permissions

Add new Closure reason

On Closure Reasons tab, click + Add Closure Reason button, it will show the popup to add a new Closure reason.

On this popup, you need to provide:

  • Closure reason name: a short name for reason

  • Description: description of a reason

  • Mark as default: if you want this option to be a default option whenever you closes a claim, please select it. Only one option will be default.

After you’re done with required information, you need to click Save to accept creating new closure reason. The new closure reason will be added and displayed in the Closure Reason list.

Edit existing Closure Reason

On Closure Reason list, click on Edit button of one Closure Reason. It will show Update Closure Reason popup where you can update the Closure Reason info.

After you’re done with required information, you need to click Save to accept the changes. The changes will be reflected in the Closure Reason list.

Delete existing Closure Reason

On Closure Reason list, click on Delete button of one Closure Reason. It will show a confirmation.

If you’re ok, please click Yes to accept deleting the Closure Reason. The Closure Reason will disappear from the Closure Reason list.

Set a Closure Reason as default option

On Closure Reason list, click on Set default button of one Closure Reason.

The selected Closure Reason will be marked as default and when you closes a claim. It is displayed as the default option. For example:
