Create Sales
1. Introduction
Seamless provides you with the ability to effortlessly create new sales for your customers or prospects with just a few clicks.
2. Prerequisite
You must have the "View sales" and "Create sales" permissions to perform the action
3. Create a new sales
To create a new Sale, click on the button below in the Sales List. You can then proceed to generate a new sale for either a Person or Company account.
If your organization only has individual customers or commercial customers, clicking on the button “Create” will directly show the popup “Create Sale” below.
The information in the form includes:
a. Account Info
This section provides the sales account information, including Organization, First name, Last name, etc. You are only required to complete this information if the account or customer is not available in Seamless.
If you generate new sales for an existing customer, you can select the customer from the dropdown menu labeled "Choose From Existing Account" above. Typing any part of a customer’s name will narrow down the options in the dropdown, making it easier for you to select the specific customer.
The dropdown “Choose From Existing Account” is available to search by NIN/Organization Nr. By typing the exact NIN/Organization Nr. would return the matched customer.
b. Sales
This section captures the details of the new sale. For example, Pipeline, Sales Stage, Sales Name, Sales Rep., Sales Type, etc. This information is configurable depending on your business needs. See more details at Sales and Distribution Settings.
c. Contact
This section is available for Commercial Customers only, it contains Contact info for the sale, such as First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone, etc.
d. Sale Items
This section is used to capture sale items for a given sale. Sale items are quotes/policies that are created for the sale’s customer.
