Sales and Distribution Settings

1. Introduction

This page contains configurations for all aspects related to Sales and Distribution, including the Sales pipeline, Commissions, or Importer

Before you begin

To continue, you must have permissions View Module Configuration and Update Module Configuration.

2. Pipelines

This configuration defines the Sales Pipelines utilized by your company. You have the flexibility to define an unlimited number of pipelines according to your specific requirements.

3. Fields and Layouts

This tab contains the settings for gathering sales information within your company. As an admin user, you can customize the layout of the Sales screen to best fit your business needs.

a. Tab “Fields”

This tab defines the available fields & layout that can be used to collect Sales information. This is where you define the appearance and details for your sales.

You have the option to add additional fields by simply clicking the "New field" button.

You can also customize or remove fields using the action buttons. Please note that the default fields established by the Seamless system cannot be edited or removed.

b. Tab “Layout”

This tab defines the interface or layout for a sale.

4. Commission

This tab is used to configure the commission amount that will be given to the sales team member when a sale reaches a certain sales stage. This is different from the product’s sales commission configured at the product level. You can find more information about this topic on the pageTeam management .

This commission can be configured differently per product and/or per pipeline.

5. Importers

This information is accessible to companies that have registered to use the "Importer management" feature. If your organization is interested in activating this feature, please reach out to our Contemi Support team.

In casualty insurance, insurance companies often establish partnerships with entities involved in importing various goods such as Motor Importers, Car Importers, or Furniture Importers. This allows them to offer and promote insurance policies tailored to the imported items.

a. Create a new importer

You can add a new importer in Seamless by clicking on the Create button

You need to enter all the mandatory fields to create a new importer

  • The team must not linked to any Importer

b. Link importer to a team

You can also link an existing importer to another team by clicking the Link button. With this dialog, you need to select an existing importer in your tenant
