How to send a termination letter?

Define Termination Template for each product

For each product, we have defined Termination Letter Template and Email as requested by your organization.

Moreover, in each product, there is a question for Termination Text. If you have any information you would like to add, please enter there. The text will be displayed in Termination Letter.

 

List of previous insurer

Make sure you have added the list of previous insurer companies in Settings (Cogwheel) > Product Settings > Insurance companies.

 

Send termination Letter

When creating quotes, in page Quote Review, you can see section “Previous Insurer”.

  • If the current policy is the new insurance, do not change anything.

  • If the customer has previous insurer, choose the company name from the dropdown

Once you chooses the company name, the corresponding email will be populated.

  • When the policy is purchased, termination email (with termination letter attached) will be sent to this email.

  • For “New insurance”, there is no email/letter.

 

Termination Email status

You can check the email status in Policy details.

  • If email sends successfully, you will see as below:

  • If email is failed to send, you will see below:

Notes: you can click on button “Retry” in the orange panel to send again.

  • If email is generating/loading, you will see below:

  • If termination email is not applicable (in case of New insurance or termination template is not defined), you will see below:
