How to align Renewal Start Date?

Preconditions: End Date Handling Scheme must be turned on, ref https://contemi.atlassian.net/l/c/zasXXh1P

Step 1: Set Renewal End Date Alignment in Customer details

• Access Account List, and choose the Account that you would like to set Renewal End Date

• n section “Other information”, turn on mode “Renewal Date Alignment”, and then choose Date/Month that you expect to be the start date of Renewal quotes

Step 2: Create new Quote, can be New Business or Renewal

From the point of time that “Renewal Date Alignment” is set (as in figured above), every quote created will have end date is 31^st Dec by default. As a result, all renewal quotes will have start date of 1^st Jan as expected.

Notes:

• You are still able to change End date if needed.

• This does not effect on quotes/policies created BEFORE feature “End Date Handling Scheme” is turned on AND “Renewal Date Alignment” is set
