Household
1. Introduction
Seamless provides you the ability to group customers into a household so you can give them a discount
Before you begin
Make sure the "Household" feature is On
Make sure you have these permissions: “View households”, “Manage households”
2. Configuration
Go to Settings > Module Configuration > Seamless Service > Household Settings page.
Save the household settings with one of these options:
Household include customers that have the same address and have incepted policies.
Household includes customers that have the same address.
Note: “incepted policies” means policies which contain: Start Date <= today <= End Date
Go to the Account List page (EX: Seamless ): Make sure at least 3 accounts contain the same address and do not belong to the Household list yet.
e.g. “P.O.Box 55 Falkum, 3705, Skien, Sweden”.
Proceed to create at least 1 incepted policy for the above accounts.
2. List of household
Go to Accounts > Households page
There is a list of all households in your tenant
3. Create/Suggest a Household
Go to Accounts > Households page > Suggestions tab.
Look for the address record above, then click on the Create button
Click Yes on the Confirmation popup if it does display.
Now household is created
Click on the Households tab and look for the household
4. Add Household Member
Go to Accounts > Households page.
Make sure there is at least 1 existing household in the list, then click on the “Add member” button.
On the Add Member To Household popup:
Input an existing Customer Name.
Click on the Add button
Click Yes on the Confirmation popup if it does display.
Now new member is added to the household.
5. Delete Household Member
Go to Accounts > Households page.
Make sure there is at least 1 existing household in the list and it does contain at least 1 member.
Click on the “Remove button.
Click Yes on the Confirmation popup.
Now the member is removed from the household.
