Introduction

General search engine is a powerful tool that will help you find all related objects using a simple keyword.

You can find the General Search Engine on the top-right corner near the profile icon.

Open

You can specify the Entities that you want to search with below options:

• All Entities: search for all below entities related to the inputted keyword

• Accounts

• Contacts

• Leads

• Sales

• Cases

• Notes

• Quotes

• Policies

Search Results

Open

• The search result will display with options to view results of a specific Entity.

• The number after the Entity Name is search results count.

  • Example: Account (610) - There are total 610 results for Accounts

• Click on Entity to filter the results

Technical Characteristic

Use Cache result for faster information access

• This view is not the source of truth for quotes but a faster way to access entities. It cache results from when the quote was first completed / or at an intermediate stage. Hence, there are some scenarios where there is discrepancy between quote details and search result for same quote
