Organizations

This is where you manage all your organizations. There’s only one root organization, and you can only create child organizations under it.

Make sure you have "View users" and "Manage users" permissions. Without them, you can’t see or update organization details.

Name	Name of the organization
Parent organization	The org it belongs to. Use this when setting up a partner, intermediary, or a child company that you want to give access to Seamless. The root organization is typically your own company, and every org created under it will follow its structure and permissions.
Organization number	Internal number for the organization
Phone number / Email	Contact details
Address / City / Postcode / City / Country	Basic location info
Industry	Code of the industry this organization belongs to (e.g. NACE or NAICS)
Description	Description of the organization
Allow Commission	Turn this ON to allow sales commission for this organization's users If it’s OFF, no commission will be applied to quotes created by this organization's users.
Sales Commission Rate (%)	% of commission applied for new sales
Renewal Sales Commission Rate (%)	% of commission applied for renewal sales
Renewal organization	Where renewal quotes should go during renewal

Opens a pop-up via button to add a new organization to the system.

Important: The organization name must be unique within your tenant. Double-check to avoid name duplication when creating a new one.

Opens a form via button and you can update the organization's details.

Removes the selected organization after confirmation.

🚫 You can’t delete the root organization.

A user can only belong to one organization at a time.

If a user is assigned to a new organization, they’ll automatically be removed from their current one before being added to the new one.

Root organization users can manage everything in the system.
Parent organization users can manage their own data plus all data under their child organizations.
Child organization users can only manage data within their own organization.
