Organizations

This is where you manage all your organizations. There’s only one root organization, and you can only create child organizations under it.

What you’ll learn:

Make sure you have "View users" and "Manage users" permissions. Without them, you can’t see or update organization details.

  • Use this when setting up a partner, intermediary, or a child company that you want to give access to Seamless. The root organization is typically your own company, and every org created under it will follow its structure and permissions.

Address / City / Postcode / City / Country

Basic location info

Industry

Code of the industry this organization belongs to (e.g. NACE or NAICS)

Allow Commission

Turn this ON to allow sales commission for this organization's users

  • If it’s OFF, no commission will be applied to quotes created by this organization's users.

% of commission applied for new sales

Renewal Sales Commission Rate (%)

% of commission applied for renewal sales

2. Actions on Organizations

Opens a pop-up via image-20250421-044557.png button to add a new organization to the system.

Important: The organization name must be unique within your tenant. Double-check to avoid name duplication when creating a new one.

Opens a form via button and you can update the organization's details.

Removes the selected organization after confirmation.

🚫 You can’t delete the root organization.

3. Organizations vs. Users 

A user can only belong to one organization at a time.

If a user is assigned to a new organization, they’ll automatically be removed from their current one before being added to the new one.

Permissions

  • Root organization users can manage everything in the system.

  • Parent organization users can manage their own data plus all data under their child organizations.

  • Child organization users can only manage data within their own organization.

Example:

  • "Contemi-Testing" (root) can see/manage all.

  • "Broker A" can only manage its own data.
