GTR Posting
1. Introduction
In the Motor Registry Settings page, users can set up GTR Posting in the system to load GTR requests from a defined location, so that users will know which actions the Carrier (Gjensidige) would like them to process and take appropriate actions.
Motor posting is developed to receive finds from the iVTR/GTR SFTP server, and parse to meaningful posting lines. From these posting lines, users can manually update policies, or automatically update by the system (this function is not implemented yet).
Before you begin
Users should have:
Feature switch “Swedish Motor Registry Postings Batch”
“Manage motor registry settings” permission – user can access and manage posting settings and credentials. MUST be careful to gain this permission, because not setting carefully can cause errors for motor registry providers and posting.
“Manage motor registry data” permission – user can access and manage posting lines. User CANNOT access motor registry setting to view or manage.
Both GTR and Fake Swedish Auto Provider support posting and the posting setting is below the provider setting.
2. Manual Postings
Instead of loading Postings from a server by “Automatic Postings”, users need to upload a file (*.txt) inside the update credentials pop-up and display in Posting in the “Motor Registry Postings” screen.
Above are the provider and posting credentials, users MUST input the correct one to use posting.
Currently Seamless allows users to manually upload files as a part of testing or in case the SFTP server is not available.
To use manual posting users just drop files they need to drop boxes. And because the expectation here is that the user is a pro-user there won’t be any check of the file type. The user MUST update the correct file type as in the SFTP server.
And manually posting is available for both GTR and Fake Swedish Providers.
3. Automatic Postings
SFTP will import a file (as though automating the manual upload), and trigger Motor Registry Postings. Each configuration has its own meaning:
Is Automatic Posting: The user can turn on this flag then the process of handling the posting line will be taken care of by the system (this function is under implementation and NOT AVAILABLE FOR NOW), otherwise user we need to do it by hand.
Posting Source: The user chooses SFTP and provides another connection otherwise please choose None. For the None option, the user won’t see posting credentials.
Host: The user provides an SFTP host
Path: The user provides an SFTP directory that stores files.
Please remember to SAVE after updating all configurations, and then please UPDATE CREDENTIAL. This step is very important because, without a username or password, the system cannot connect to the SFTP server which causes some errors. And please do these steps in order
Posting Line
After processing manual or automatic posting, the Posting line will be displayed on Seamless:
To access Motor registry posting, please go to Insurance > Motor Registry Postings
Seamless provides some information: posting type, registration, insured person, transaction date, and state.
Seamless provides some functionalities: search and filter, paging, …
Based on Posting information user can update the policy and update the status of the posting line by clicking on mark as processed.
