This tab displays all documents linked to the account—both generated (e.g. from quotes, policies, claims) and uploaded.

What You’ll Learn:

1. Manage customer-related documents

You can:

  • Download a document by clicking its name or the download icon.

  • Remove a document by clicking the trash icon and confirming.

  • Go to the source (quote, policy, etc.) by clicking the related record.

2. Upload document

You can upload external documents to centralize all customer files in Seamless.

Document Tags

Helps with searching. Tags can be claim or policy references.

Related Records

Link the document to a quote, policy, or other record. Once linked, it’ll show up in the respective details screen.

Note: Fleet policy records are feature-flagged controlled - please contact Seamless support team to enable.

Description

Short description (e.g. "Policy document", "Claim evidence").

Upload Document

Select and upload your file (1 document per upload).

3. Download document

To download a single document, click the download button on the record.

To download multiple documents, select them and click Download Documents button —files will be zipped into one package.

4. Generate document

Documents may be auto-generated when purchasing a policy, but you can also manually generate others (e.g. motor certificate, renewal letter).

Choose from available templates in your tenant. Templates are managed here.

Search Entity

Select the policy to use for document generation.

5. Search document

Use the Related Records field to filter and find specific documents quickly.
