Workflow Setup

Introduction

“Workflows” is the module that allows users to create, edit, or activate/deactivate a workflow to use in the Seamless system.

By integrating the BPMN model ( Business Process Model and Notation ) with events occurring in the system, users can create a variety of automated or manual processes. The processes can run automatically and offer guidance based on predefined workflows.

When clicking on the menu “Workflows”, we can access the Workflow list . This is the page where you can manage all workflows in Seamless.

  • The benefits of using the workflow:

    • Workflows are useful for ensuring that important processes are done the right way every time.

    • A workflow is a repeatable process that consists of a series of tasks that generally need to be completed in a specific sequence.

    • A workflow is the progression of work moving smoothly from one stage to the next until it is finished.

  • Workflow could help to perform an automatic chain of actions, based on how it is configured. Example:

    • Send out Notifications, emails, or SMS when Created or terminated Policies.

    • Auto Cancellation, Termination, Renewal Invite…

    • Trigger rule for validating Claim

Prerequisites

To use the Workflow module, you need to have Workflow Permissions .
